The Role

As our Referrals & Placements Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient referral and admissions processes, supporting occupancy and revenue targets, and maintaining strong partnerships with Local Authorities and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Referrals & Placements Process – Oversee enquiries, assessments, and admissions, ensuring timely and professional responses.

  • Build & Maintain Relationships – Engage with Local Authorities, commissioning teams, social workers, and families to generate and manage referrals.

  • Drive Business Growth – Work with the Business Development team to identify opportunities, track referral trends, and develop marketing strategies.

  • Data & Reporting – Maintain accurate records, track occupancy, and provide key reports to senior leadership.

  • Support Transition Planning – Ensure smooth transitions for individuals joining our services, working closely with families and operational teams.


About You

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in referrals, admissions, or placement management within social care or a similar setting.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with Local Authorities, commissioners, and social care professionals.

  • Excellent organizational and data management abilities, with experience using CRM systems.

  • A proactive and strategic mindset to help grow and develop services.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
