Marketing Executive

Salary

Role Purpose 

The Marketing Executive will support the delivery of creative and effective marketing and communications activities across digital and offline channels. The role involves creating engaging content, supporting campaigns and events, maintaining brand consistency, and helping strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including colleagues, families, partners, and the wider community. 

Working closely with the Communications team, marketing consultants, and Business Development team, the Marketing Executive will help drive awareness, engagement, and organisational growth through high-quality marketing activity and communications.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create, edit, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms, newsletters, and the organisation’s website.  

  • Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns to support organisational objectives and audience engagement.  

  • Work collaboratively with the Business Development team and external marketing consultant to deliver marketing collateral and campaigns.  

  • Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, posters, presentations, case studies, and promotional assets.  

  • Support the planning and delivery of events, outreach initiatives, and community engagement activities.  

  • Write, edit, and proofread content for internal and external communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency of tone and messaging.  

  • Produce compelling copy for email campaigns, social media, and marketing communications targeting both B2B and B2C audiences.  

  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and communications using platforms such as Mailchimp, Mailerlite, or Klaviyo, ensuring compliance with current data protection legislation.  

  • Monitor digital performance across social media, email marketing, and website platforms, providing insight and recommendations for improvement.  

  • Maintain and organise digital assets, mailing lists, campaign records, and marketing databases.  

  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure communications are aligned and effective.  

  • Brief and liaise with external suppliers and agencies including printers, photographers, videographers, graphic designers, web developers, and marketing agencies.  

  • Support brand development and ensure all communications and creative assets adhere to brand guidelines.  

  • Assist with print marketing activity and coordinate the production of printed materials.  

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally.  

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Marketing & Communications function.  

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience 

Essential 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.  

  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills with the ability to produce engaging content for a variety of audiences.  

  • Experience managing or supporting social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.  

  • Hands-on experience using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Mailerlite, or Klaviyo.  

  • Understanding of current GDPR and data protection legislation relating to marketing communications.  

  • Comfortable using Canva and working within established brand guidelines.  

  • Good organisational, coordination, and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.  

  • Comfortable working with external agencies and suppliers to deliver marketing projects.  

  • Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships across teams and departments.  

  • Basic understanding of print marketing and print production processes.  

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also using initiative independently.  

  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.  

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.  

Desirable 

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.  

  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS).  

  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics or social media insights.  

  • Previous experience within health & social care, education, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors.
