Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We’re currently seeking dedicated Night Practitioners to become a valued part of our team at Church View, our warm and nurturing children’s residential home.

Nestled within four acres in the peaceful village of Swinderby, just ten miles from Lincoln, Church View offers a tranquil and supportive environment. About the Role

As a Night Practitioner, you will play an essential role in providing consistent and compassionate care throughout the night. Each shift brings new opportunities to support and connect with the young people in our home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care during the evening and nighttime routines, including toileting, bathing, and dressing—always with dignity and respect.

  • Building and maintaining trusting, positive relationships with the young people we support.

  • Attending to each child’s physical, emotional, behavioral, and cultural needs, ensuring their care plans are up-to-date and reflective of their evolving needs.

  • Creating a stable, nurturing, and safe environment that prioritizes health, wellbeing, and personal development.

  • Supporting with general household duties to maintain a warm, clean, and welcoming home.

About You

What experience and qualifications do you need:

• A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
• A strong team player
• Resilient and confidence to ask for support as needed
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a willingness to complete this within the first 2 years of employment.
